Orion Hindawi, CEO, Tanium; Lou Manousos, CEO, RiskIQ; Summer Fowler, CISO, Argo AI; Dee Young, CISO, UNC Health; and Kim Peretti, partner and co-chair, cybersecurity preparedness & response, Alston & Bird.

Hindawi co-founded Tanium in 2007 and serves as its CEO. He leads the product strategy and development of the Tanium platform, in addition to all customer-facing technical operations and management functions. Hindawi has led the development of enterprise-scale endpoint security and management platforms for the past 18 years at BigFix (acquired by IBM in 2010) and Tanium. He holds software patents in the areas of network communications and systems management.

Manousos, CEO and co-founder of RiskIQ, is a recognized expert in Internet security and fraud prevention. He has been developing and delivering enterprise protection technologies for more than 15 years. As CEO of RiskIQ, he has spearheaded a new approach that helps internet, financial services, healthcare, media and consumer packaged goods companies protect their brands from online fraud.

Fowler has more than 19 years of experience in risk management and software engineering. She came to Argo AI from Carnegie Mellon University’s CERT cybersecurity division, where she served as technical director of cybersecurity risk and resilience. Prior to her work at CERT, Fowler was a technical member at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab and a software engineer at Northrop Grumman. In addition to her role as Argo’s CISO, she’s an adjunct faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University.

Young leads the UNC Health information security teams responsible for cybersecurity, security compliance and cyber risk management efforts. She has more than 20 years of experience in leadership positions within security and technology across healthcare, academia and industry. Young has numerous technical certifications, including Certified Information Security Management Professional. She has been a frequent speaker on cybersecurity topics, including cyber incident response, mentoring and medical device/IoT security.

Peretti is co-chair of Alston & Bird’s cybersecurity preparedness and response team and national security and digital crimes team. She is the former director of PwC’s cyber forensic services group and a former senior litigator for the Department of Justice’s computer crime and intellectual property section. With 20 years of experience as an information security professional, she has managed technical cyber investigations, assisted clients in responding to data security-related regulator inquiries and advised boards and senior executives on cybersecurity and cyber risk matters.
