There’s a cycle of intense action followed by complacency that comes with any major security incident including the recent SolarWinds breach. Speaking of the importance of taking advantage of the urgency of the moment, Ghosh remarks:
“It’s a career-defining moment for security professionals. … This is the time to bring out your A-game. If you’re in the business of building better security systems this is your moment, get at it. If you’re in the business of defending the enterprise, you’ve got a hard job in front of you.”
In this episode of Cybersecurity Unplugged, Ghosh discusses:
- The best way to blend prevention with detection and response;
- How deception technology allows you to shape the attack surface of your network;
